Very interesting blog entry I found on digg.  To be honest, I don’t know what I truly believe.  Maybe I’m a hypocritical atheist.  I want to believe in something, I really do, but I can’t accept all the bullshit and propaganda of the cult-like organizations that people call religion these days.  I’m more likely to call myself Buddhist than I would Catholic.  They got it right.  Focusing on spiritualism and inner self, rather than the bullshit that comes out of the church nowadays.  You let yourself find your own way, your own path, instead of being fed whatever the religious figurehead has decided you should know.

But I suppose I should be blaming all the extreme right-wing fundamentalists that I can’t stand.  Faith is fine.  Religion, conceptually, is fine.  What isn’t, is when you let it control your life, and it becomes the sole controlling focus.

This is one really long-winded blog to say that I have no idea what’s out there, nor do I know what I believe.  Tomorrow I might believe in one thing, the next day, something different entirely.

And since the upstair’s neighbor’s TV is still a million decibels loud (and its 11pm), I’m going to go lose myself in a video game, and maybe get a few minutes peace.

Yea, I know, it’s early.

Now I just have to assemble some accessories. I plan on getting some sort of pike/axe/spear/etc, and impaling this pac-man plush head on it that I bought a while back. And then I’m going to grab a clear plastic bag (like one of those gallon zip-lock bags, without the ziplock) and fill it with marshmallows.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year, hands down (well, Christmas is kinda nice, you get presents). Half the fun is coming up with the costume idea. My take on it is usually something normal with a funny or crazy spin on it.

The scary part of all of this is I came up with the idea about 6 months ago. :P  I had to make sure I was able to pull it off otherwise I’d have to move on to plan B.  Hopefully the thing holds up until the end of the month.  I may have to re-glue a few things, if the glue doesn’t hold.

Since I don’t have access to all the movie channels anymore (didn’t feel like paying for them), when I’d normally go to HBO or something similar, I find myself settling for Discovery, or sometimes G4.  The Discovery Channel has become my new goto place of choice.  Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, How It’s Made, Fight Quest, and the list goes on.  I’m now a Discovery Channel junkie.

Wootah,   What isn’t wootah is this stupid cold that I still have.  Fortunately I think I’m at the tail end of it, but I still have this wicked cough  Hopefully it doesn’t splinter into an all new ailment, Im done being sick. :P

You would think that driving a Hummer is one of those grossly unnecessary things in life.  There’s really no reason at all for a normal person to own one.  So what did I see driving past me today?  A hummer with rims.  Yes, rims.  I’m  shaking my head too.

Today definitely sucked.  Not in a work load way, but in a health way.  Sneezing, sniffling, stuffy nose, exhaustion, etc.   I was completely out of it by the afternoon.  I’m seriously considering staying home from work tomorrow, which means I don’t go back to work until Thursday.  The Fios dude is coming Wednesday, which I took off as a personal day.  I probably should stay home, but I need to pick up my check.  So I might just go in for a half a day, wait it out for my check, then head home and relax on the couch.

And then there’s this stupid cough.  A dry cough, but a cough nonetheless.  Hopefully it stays like that.

I’m sorry, but I do not want that woman one step away from our nuclear arsenal.  Good god (which happens to be the problem here).  I’m sorry, but there is irrefutable scientific evidence that the dinosaurs walked the earth 65 million years ago.  I can’t possibly comprehend how people can just blindly ignore this.

I still feel like shit.  Actually, I feel worse today then I did last week, which is impressive.  I think whatever I had that was lingering between sickness and health is finally turning into a cold, which sucks, but one way or another I’ll finally be feeling better at some point.  It just means I’m going to feel worse before I start feeling better.  And of course tomorrow is Monday, which will probably start getting near the height of my soon-to-be full blown cold.  I’m hoping I’m over the worst by next weekend.  At least I have a full night of TV to look forward to tomorrow.

Words of wisdom from one of those forwards that you all hate to get in your inbox from "that" relative who never stops sending them.  Once in a blue moon however, they turn out to be pretty decent.

Whatever you give a woman, she’s going to multiply.
If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.

So - if you give her any crap, you will receive a ton of shit."

Love and appreciate all the women in your life.

Today I embarked on a quest to create something I could use for Halloween.  I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pull it off, but I’m halfway there.  I’ve built the frame but now I’m having trouble fitting the felt I bought for it.  It’s really just a matter of how I want to affix the cloth to the frame, as I keep on going back and forth on a few ideas.  I still have time though, if I have to abandon my current idea, but I’ve already invested time and money, so I’d hate to just ditch it.  I’ll be great though, if I can pull it off.

Awesome.  Also, Zack and Miri make a porno looks awesome.  I really want to see this movie.
